Give More – Gifts That Give Back

The holiday season is a very hectic time for most of us. When I sat down this morning to create this little gift guide, the one thing that I wanted to be my main focus was to feature gifts that “give more”. I wanted to feature gifts that not only give someone a present for the holiday season, but to focus on gifts that give back to the community or to a non-profit organization.

These were some of my favorites.

1.  Iroquois Steeplechase Tickets

image-25Every year the second weekend in May, Nashville hosts the Iroquois Steeplechase. This is a huge fundraiser for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. Guests not only get to enjoy the race and tailgating, but are purchasing a ticket that helps so many children at the hospital.

Race fans can purchase a tailgating spot for the 2015 Iroquois Steeplechase and receive 2 FREE armbands and be entered to win a two-night stay at the Omni Nashville hotel. To be eligible for the drawing, guests must purchase the tailgating spot before December 26 at 5:00 p.m.

Price: $600  includes: EIGHT (8) armbands. ONE (1) tailgating parking pass. TWO (2) guest of tailgating parking passes (Lot T). TWO (2) additional tailgating armbands free of charge.

Limited spots are available for early purchase in Midfield, The Stretch, Topside, The Family Area and The Turn.

This special ticketing window will close 5:00 p.m. on December 26 and will remain closed to the public until March 11, 2015 after ticketing phases I and II have ended.
